EDUCATION

• Required: High school diploma or equivalent and currently enrolled full-time in an accredited nursing program. and
• Preferred: Completed a minimum of one clinical semester/quarter prior to employment start date.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS: There are two tracks for the Professional Student Nurse Extern. Track 1 will work with a Patient Care Technician and requires completion of one clinical semester/quarter. Track 2 will work with a clinical nurse and requires completion of two clinical semesters/quarters and enrollment in an accredited BSN program.
